Dealing with Problems at Your Childcare Centre
|
| |
If you find you have a problem with conditions, behaviours or personalities at your childcare centre it is best to respond as soon as possible and the following points may make that response system easier.
Clearly identify your concerns and know how you would like to resolve them ? adopt a problem solving approach to the conversation, being very aware of where you stand and what compromise you will allow.
Do not reveal concerns in an accusatory manner, and choose a suitable time and place where a constructive conversation is more likely to occur. It is highly unlikely that this would be in front of the children.
Take time to listen to the carer?s point of view and ensure a solution is reached or at least a plan of action.
